On September 22nd, 2007, over 11,000 eager visitors walked through Como Zoo's gates for a fun-filled day with plenty of animal watching and engaging activities for all ages. The CW Twin Cities also enjoyed a sunny day at Como Park while hosting eight conservation stations sprinkled inside the zoo. Everyone got the chance to learn about Minnesota's current environment and how to improve it.
Not only were the animals a hit, so were the crafts and prizes at all the sponsoring booths and The CW Twin Cities green station! All who participated in The CW Twin Cities green activity received free prizes and learned green facts and tips to share with family and friends.
